Security system using IP camera

This Project does the recording of vedio images form an ip camera and transfer it into a centralized computer system. The compressed video format can be stored in computer and can use for checking security issues. To start with this project you need to learn VB.net. Other languages can be used but VB.net is the easiest. Then you must get an IP camera. The camera sends images as IP packets. The camera itself will have an IP address. You can connect to that IP using TCP/IP and read images from it directly. Once you have them you can compress them.. or convert format store in HDD etc. Once you can capture the image the application is your imagination You can reduce the frame rate of the video to about 1 frame per second and then store it in the HDD. This is done in most of the security systems today

Abstract of the project
Consider a medium sized IT establishment which manages its own payroll requirements. This project will aim to develop an automated system to pay employees their monthly wages.

The system should store employee salary details and leave allowance. At the end of the month the system should automatically credit the employee’s bank account with their salary. Income tax and loan payments should be deducted at source and appropriate accounts credited. Salary slips should also be generated.

Co-operative banking is a special form of business aiming at the economic upliftment of the members lying with greater emphasis on moral principles and human values. Banks, no doubt, work as catalytic agents in the presence of economic development as they built the financial infra structure, mobilize savings and allocate resources to alternate users.
The installment amount, interest rate and repayment period are different for all loans. To take a loan a customer should have to be an account holder of this Bank. This bank doesn't provide education loan.

In this project the installment calculation is done. When a customer fails to repay then there occurs the lapse of installment occurs. So the calculation, when the installment lapse is also done in this project.

Purpose of the project

The purpose of developing the project is to automate the existing system.
If the existing system in the Bank is manual. All the data processing is done manually and hence the system is very slow. The data are stored in different types of registers. Getting a particular data is very difficult. In the existing system the calculations needs a lot of time and resources and also calculations are very much prone to errors. This system causes very much difficulty both to the employees and to customers.

In order to avoid the above-mentioned disadvantages we decide to develop the software "Loan Automation System".
The new system uses VB. 6.0 as its platform, which is more users friendly. Along with VB 6.0, Oracle 8.0 is used as the database server on Windows 98 platform. As a result the new system has been able to overcome all the disadvantages of the existing system.

As a very basic definition, home automation is anything that gives you remote or automatic control of things around your home. Remote control gives you the convenience of controlling lighting, appliances, security systems and consumer electronics from wherever you happen to be at the time like your couch, car or even in your bed. There are several different methods of controlling devices remotely: Infrared IR, Power line, Radio Frequency RF, Insteon and Hardwired. Some home automation systems are packaged as fully integrated systems whereas others provide only a limited set of functions. Both wireless and hard-wired systems are available. And here we are using a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone as the remote.

Bluetooth wireless technology is a short-range communications technology intended to replace the cables connecting portable and/or fixed devices while maintaining high levels of security. The key features of Bluetooth technology are robustness, low power, and low cost. The Bluetooth specification defines a uniform structure for a wide range of devices to connect and communicate with each other.
Bluetooth technology has achieved global acceptance such that any Bluetooth enabled device, almost everywhere in the world, can connect to other Bluetooth enabled devices in proximity. Bluetooth enabled electronic devices connect and communicate wirelessly through short-range, ad hoc networks known as piconets. Each device can simultaneously communicate with up to seven other devices within a single piconet. Each device can also belong to several piconets simultaneously. Piconets are established dynamically and automatically as Bluetooth enabled devices enter and leave radio proximity. A fundamental Bluetooth wireless technology strength is the ability to simultaneously handle both data and voice transmissions. This enables users to enjoy variety of innovative solutions such as a hands-free headset for voice calls, printing and fax capabilities, and synchronizing PDA, laptop, and mobile phone applications to name a few.
